Milcincuenta is a designer label that creates fine art jewellery that is numbered, unique and individual.

Milcincuenta was founded in 2013 by Ahsayane Studio as a laboratory where to explore the creation of limited editions and numbered collections. We celebrate individuality.

For the first commercial jewelry collection we have chosen Fine Porcelain as main material, inspired in what we call "endless nature". Porcelain jewels are caste out of real food ingredients and natural elements, with the intention of capturing permanently their ever evolving shape. These pieces are part of a handcrafted and limited edition collection, consisting of 150 reproductions per design and they are individually numbered.

The collections are based on the lifetime of slip casting molds, which most of the cases is about 20-40 pieces before the mold is saturated. There is none identical food ingredients in nature and only one mould can be created per ingredient, therefore the end result is a unique jewellery design which can be produced in very small quantities.

The production of limited pieces favours us a holistic approach to their design and production. We pay full attention to detail from the ideation to the moment our pieces are used and worn.

Our collections are designed and manufactured in London.

BIO.

Milcincuenta was founded in 2013 by Ahsayane Studio as a laboratory where to explore the creation of limited editions and numbered collections. Ahsayane studio is a creative agency founded in 2009 by Marcial Ahsayane and Miriam Liebana; product designers from Spain. They met in Barcelona whilst working as creative professionals and decided to begin their own `creative journey´ together. Shortly after founding Ahsayane Studio, Marcial and Miriam relocated to Brussels, and it was here they became a truly international design agency, with clients based in the Silicon Valley/ Australia/ Hong Kong/ Belgium/ UK and Spain. The diverse range of creative commissions they received provided the perfect opportunity to work in different fields such as lighting, furniture, packaging and product design. In 2010, Ahsayane Studio added the use of ceramics to their repertoire, allowing them to expand their creative output. This is when Milcincuenta is born. Alongside the creative studio, in 2013, Marcial and Miriam founded the label Milcincuenta. The same year both Ahsayane Studio and Milcincuenta opened a new office together in London.
